Founded in 1994, the Socially Responsible Business Awards honor the highest achievement in corporate and individual behavior as it relates to exemplary business citizenship in the rapidly growing natural, organic and sustainable products marketplace. The awards are presented annually at the Natural Products Expo East www.newhope.com each fall.
This site serves as a resource for information about socially responsible business practices, the awards, co-sponsorship, nominations and the nominations process, past winners and co-sponsors, and media information.
We look forward to celebrating all that is good about business as well as its power as a major driver of social and environmental change and right livelihood.

You are Invited to Co-Sponsor the Fourteenth Annual Socially Responsible Business Awards Breakfast, featuring a discussion with Clif Bar founder, Gary Erickson, to be held Thursday, October 16th, 2008, in conjunction with Natural Products Expo East in Boston, MA.
THE EVENT: Join a diverse group of progressive and visionary natural products businesses to co-sponsor the 14th annual Socially Responsible Business Awards (SRBA) Breakfast on Thursday, October 16th 2008, at the Boston Convention Center as part of Natural Products Expo East.
This popular event recognizes businesses in the natural products trade that have shown exemplary and quantifiable efforts to promote and practice socially responsible business practices. The awards, determined by an independent panel of judges using criteria established by the Social Venture Network, promote an understanding and appreciation within the natural products business community of sustainable, ethically based enterprises.
THE OPPORTUNITY: Sponsorship of the SRBA Breakfast gives industry companies and organizations the chance to join with other like-minded businesses in supporting socially responsible and sustainable business practices and creating community around these issues. Sponsorship also provides those companies with a unique opportunity to promote their own socially responsible initiatives to members of the natural products industry through alignment with the event, which includes pre-event promotion, on-site and online recognition, and post-show trade media coverage.
In addition to reasonably priced cash sponsorships outlined below, co-sponsors are encouraged to donate breakfast food and beverage items to be served at the event.
Golden Temple of Oregon, the manufacturer of Peace Cereals, and the Yogi Tea Company are the founding and ongoing sponsors of the SRBA Breakfast.
